Droneworxs adds the Sony A7RIII camera to their range

In a bid to deliver excellent service by taking super shots for our clients, Droneworxs have added the excellent Sony A7RIII camera to our range of cameras. We pride ourselves on the high-quality service we offer our clients and are always going above and beyond to impress you. Unlike other several other drone service providers who make use of low-cost drones and cameras of with poor resolution; we have been utilizing high-quality commercial drones fit with ultra-high image resolution cameras for capturing beautiful images. Our latest addition is Sony's full-frame mirrorless camera dubbed the Alpha A7R III. This beast is a 42.4-megapixel sensor capable of shooting bursts at 10 fps. It's also capable of taking stunning videos in 4K without skipping and great for slo-mo shots at 120 fps (1080 resolution). The shooting prowess of the Sony A7RIII camera makes it one of the best high-resolution cameras available on the market and Droneworxs is happy is add it our line-up of powerful snappers. If you need stunning drone footage, you would appreciate the many pixel resolutions the Sony AR7III brings to the table. As you would expect, the imagery and video quality are top-notch unlike what you would be getting on lower resolution 16 to 24 MP cameras.

Let’s talk about the quality of imagery

of the Sony A7RIII camera and how it would serve our clients better.

In the press release, Sony said their new product (A7R III) uses the 5-axis image stabilization to eliminate camera shake. Its ISO range is 100- 32,000 and can be expanded to 50-102,000. The high sensitivity of this camera provides up to 15 stretches of dynamic range. With the Alpha A7R III, you are guaranteed a high-resolution pixel no matter the time you chose to make use of the equipment. We have carried out several tests and found that the A7R III is the champion of low light conditions. Other lower resolution cameras may make images that are taken at night or during low lighting conditions to be blurry. The images achieved have more true-to-life colours, which mean a more natural sharpening of images. It shoots 10 fps (frames per second) without any form of shutter blackout whatsoever. Photographers always reel with excitement at the sight of this wonderful beast. The 42.4-megapixel camera, in well-lighted conditions, matches the Nikon D850 that was originally thought to be the best sensor camera in the world. By implication, there is a new best and highest scoring mirrorless camera sensor and that is the Alpha A7R III. The sensor is excellent for capturing dynamic range images and with an excellent colour. However, it is its low light ISO that is particularly impressive. Its value is ISO 3523 and is known to be the fourth highest value for an ISO and it gives it an edge in noise control and light accumulation.

High megapixel camera vs. a lower pixel camera

When digital cameras first came into existence, it had single figure pixels. With time, however, the pixels were developed till today and the figures have risen to millions of pixels in a particular device (1mp is equivalent to a million pixels). Now since the pixel counts have risen drastically over the years, it has become less and less important as the megapixel of any camera is already in excess of standard photographic needs. However, the amount of pixels, we must say, is important. Megapixels are like little mugs that collect light when the shutter of a camera is opened to capture a photo. The more mugs or pixels there are, the more light will be collected and used to produce a digital image. Therefore, you can say the more the pixels, the higher the image resolution. A higher megapixel camera photos will not be the same as that of a lower pixel camera. A camera with a higher fps and ISO value will perform better than one that is below it in these terms. So it means that if what you desire is a quality image, you should invest in a quality camera. Let us see the A7R III 42.4 megapixels and compare it with the normal drone cameras of 14-16 megapixels. Like you must have known, the pixels of a camera determines its resolution. Although image quality of a camera may differ from device to device, the pixels determine; • The size of prints: Larger pixels mean larger prints. • The ability to crop images without losing any details. However, the image sensor can also be a determinant of the quality of taken images. For example, if a camera has a smaller megapixel than let's say a Smartphone, the quality of photos that will be gotten from the camera will still be higher than that gotten from the Smartphone camera. The reason is that the Smartphone has a smaller image sensor than the camera (DSLR).

How do megapixels relate to photo cropping?

When a conventional drone captures images, these images sometimes need to be improved upon. The images may need to be edited, made larger, etc. One method of editing images involves cutting off some parts or sections of the image. This method is known as cropping. If the picture is cropped, and an object appearing tiny on the background catches the operator or drone controller's attention, the object can be blown to look as large as the original picture. With fewer camera pixels, there will be fewer dots on the blown image and it will look less compact and more blurry. It will not be as clear as it was before cropping. A very fine image cannot be obtained. However, if the pixel count is greater, there will be more dots to produce a more lighted image thereby making the image appear as clear as it was before it was cropped. That goes a long way to explain why 42.4 megapixels A7R III mounted on droneworx sUAVs is way better than the normal 14-16 megapixels mounted on other drones.

How do megapixels relate to image print size?

You may want to make large copies of photos captured by your drone. The conventional settings of most drone cameras are done with the normal print size of 4x6 and 5x7 inches in mind. If you want a larger print, you may have to exhaust all the available pixels or megapixels as the case may be, that the camera can afford. Making a larger print of a digital image can be troublesome as it can cause the image to become blurry. That is why it is advisable to print images to a size in relation to the megapixel of the camera. To be able to print averagely large prints from camera photos, you need at least 6 megapixels. A larger print can be gotten with the conventional 16 megapixels on drones. However, with the 42.4 megapixels of the A7R III, you can print considerably large size, even larger than life-size pictures without the image appearing blurry. The sharpness of the enlarged photograph will be the same as the original picture. Everyone deserves the best drone service, whether for their business, photo shoot, movies etc. We are a trustworthy company who acknowledges and respects this fact, which is why we have deemed it necessary to provide our clients with the best and up-to-date equipment for better results.

Moving images quality

The A7R III is formidable equipment when you are discussing the capture of moving images. It can shoot 4k video and stretches to about 30 frames per second in addition to a high 1080p that is shot at up to 120fps. For more convenience, the pictures and videos are saved in an inbuilt SD card and can be transferred with the use of a type C USB connector. Such appendage! There are other areas of the efficiency of this camera aside its stunning picture quality. The users of the A7R III should be able to use it for long due to its long-lasting battery life. The battery life capacity is actually copied from the A9 series. Most photographers have been in love with the A9 series but with the launch of the A7R III, they are more than willing to compromise. The reason is the A9's efficiency and even more, is incorporated in the A7R III and the price of the latter is more pocket-friendly than that of the former. Who isn't willing to achieve more for less?

Drone Operators

When we talk about the service they provide, not all operators are the same. Most of these operators are just after your bucks and not delivering quality services while others are more versed in a particular kind of service. All drone operators take photos. Not all the photos are the same. A proper look into the drone operator's equipment will go a long way in determining the level of satisfaction you get from them that is why in our company, we try to be up to date with the trends and latest technological cameras.
